Davie baseball coach Joey Anderson nominated four of his players for awards at the Greater Piedmont Hot Stove Dinner, and he went 4 for 4 in the annual event that was held in Salisbury on Jan. 28.

Parker Aderhold was named Scholar Athlete of the Year, Brady Marshall won Youth Player of the Year, Coy James took Rising Star of the Year and Davin Whitaker won High School Gamer of the Year.
