Fall Festival, community meal, silent auction, Salem Methodist, 169 Salem Church Rd., Mocksville, 5-8 p.m. Proceeds from silent auction and donations go to help support Michele Dyson (auto accident injury) and Kingstyn O’Brien, 3 year old undergoing treatment for Neuroblastoma). Games, cakewlaks, hayrides, bingo. Meal at 6 with chicken stew, chicken & dumplings, hotdogs.
Community breakfast, Mocks Church, Mocks Church & Beauchamp roads, Advance, 6:30-10 a.m. $8 a plate, pork tenderloing, country ham, eggs, grits, sausage gravy, biscuits, beverages. Sponsored by Mocks Men to benefit their missions.
