RISE Academy adds soccer coach

RISE Indoor Sports announces the appointment of Ben Kerth as Head of Soccer Development at NC RISE Performance Academy.
Kerth brings more than 14 years of coaching experience to his new role and currently coaches in the NC Fusion ECNL Regional League girls’ program. Widely respected for his passion for player development as a local high school coach, Kerth has led teams to three state championships and nine conference titles, earning accolades including five Conference Coach of the Year awards, three Regional Coach of the Year honors, and recognition as Private School Coach of the Year.
A former collegiate player at Indiana Wesleyan University and Liberty University, Kerth brings firsthand playing experience along with a strong coaching resume. He holds a U.S. Soccer National C License.
He holds a Master’s Degree in teaching and previously served as Associate Athletic Director at Calvary Day School.
NC RISE Performance Academy offers an elite, academy-style experience that blends rigorous academics with sport-specific training, character development, and leadership coaching. Located at 419 Twins Way in Bermuda Run, the Academy operates within RISE Indoor Sports’ 123,000-square-foot complex, featuring indoor turf, performance training spaces, and modern academic facilities.

NCRPA’s full-time academic and athletic model runs Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m., providing a flexible and supportive educational experience with sports development. Students benefit from a hybrid of in-person and online learning, mental performance coaching, and training guided by academic success coaches and mentors.
