The NW Piedmont Purple Heart Foundation will be holding the annual banquet at Richard Childress Racing, Welcome, on Saturday, Aug. 16.
Any Purple Heart Recipient, family members of Gold Star or deceased recipients who have not received an invitation to the banquet should contact Stephen Amos, registration chairb at 336-462-2024 or by email at nwpiedmontpurpleheart@gmail.com.
Each recipient and family nember will receive twofree tickets to the banquet and the foundation will present them with gifts at the banquet.
In support of combat veterans and family members, tickets are available to the public for $25. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
