RISE Indoor Sports, in collaboration with TPH Academy, announces the appointments of Bruno Corras as Director of Women’s Basketball and Nikki Graves as Head Coach of Women’s Basketball at the newly-launched NC RISE Performance Academy. These strategic additions mark a significant milestone in building a premier destination for elite student-athletes in the Southeast.
As Director of Women’s Basketball, Bruno Corras will oversee the vision, development, and strategic growth of the program. With a proven track record in building high-level basketball platforms and mentoring both players and coaches, Corras brings a wealth of experience in program leadership and long-term athlete development.
Joining Corras on the court is Coach Nikki Graves, who steps into the role of Head Coach of Women’s Basketball. Graves is widely respected for her player-first approach, technical acumen, and commitment to fostering excellence both on and off the court. Her coaching philosophy emphasizes fundamentals, leadership, and competitive preparation—key components that will shape the foundation of NC RISE’s women’s basketball program.
NC RISE Performance Academy is designed to serve aspiring elite student-athletes through a unique model that combines a rigorous private school education with sport-specific training, academic mentorship, and character development. Located at 419 Twins Way in Bermuda Run, the Academy operates out of RISE Indoor Sports’ 123,000-square-foot facility featuring high-performance courts, a training center, and modern academic spaces.
Applications for the 2025–2026 school year are now open, and prospective families are invited to attend an Academy Clinic on Wednesday, June 25 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM EST. Registration is required.
“We are honored to welcome Bruno Corras and Nikki Graves to NC RISE Performance Academy,” said Neil Cornatzer, Partner at RISE Indoor Sports. “Bruno’s vision for women’s basketball combined with Nikki’s on-court leadership will set a new standard for our program. Their experience and passion will inspire our student-athletes and help them thrive at every level.”
The Academy’s full-time model runs Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m., offering flexible academic programming alongside elite athletic development. Student-athletes benefit from sport-specific training, mental wellness resources, leadership coaching, and a blended learning curriculum supported by academic success coaches.
