A Mocksville man admitted he had put a stolen license plate on his vehicle prior to being stopped by Davie Sheriff’s Office deputies on Jan. 12.
There was a problem. The Colorado license plate was not registered to a vehicle.
Deputies made the stop at about 8:33 p.m. Sunday. The driver, Keegan Scott Hall, 23, of Twin Cedars Road, told officers he did not have insurance on the vehicle and that he had a suspended driver’s license.
Hall was charged with driving while license revoked, no insurance, and operating a vehicle with a fictitious license plate. He was taken into custody on a 48-hour hold because of pending criminal charges in Forsyth County. He is scheduled to face the new charges Feb. 21 in Davie District Court.
