The following cases were disposed of during the March 5 session of Davie District Court. Presiding: Judge Mary F. Covington. Prosecuting: Pearce Dougan and Kaitlyn Jones, assistant DAs.
– Eric Robert Ammon Jr., speeding 84 in a 70, reduced to improper equipment, $25, cost.
– Vickie G. Auman, speeding 51 in a 35, reduced to improper equipment, $50, cost.
– Dazzmaquale D. Bishop, speeding 91 in a 70, driving while license revoked not DWI, fleeing to elude arrest with vehicle, dismissed per plea; reckless driving, prayer for judgment continued.
– Israel Camero, probation violation, dismissed.
– Catherine Anne G. Carlson, speeding 85 in a 70, reduced to improper equipment, $25, cost.
– Robert Glenn Carlton, assault on a female, reduced to simple assault, sentenced to 10 days, credit for one day, $280 attorney fee.

– Tyler Forrest Herrick, DWI, sentenced to 60 days, suspended 12 months, 24 hours community service, credit for substance abuse assessment, surrender license, not operate vehicle until licensed, $100, cost; speeding 99 in a 70, reckless driving, texting violation vehicle, open container after consuming alcohol first, dismissed per plea.
– Walter Tyrell Jones, misdemeanor probation violation, probation terminated unsuccessfully.
– Roger D. Kell, cruelty to animals, dismissed, complied with deferred prosecution.
– Lamonte McBride, assault and battery, injury to personal property, sentenced to time served, cost, $280 attorney fee, $20 install fee.
