Calvin Leon Trivette

Mr. Calvin Leon Trivette, 69, of Pino Road, Mocksville, died Friday, Dec. 16, 2016, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

He was born April 10, 1947 in Yadkin County to the late Fred Baker Trivette and Dorothy Cates Trivette. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. Trivette had been employed with Unique Furniture Co. in Winston-Salem and retired with R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. after 30 years.

Survivors: his wife of 50 years, Marlene Dull Trivette  of the home; a daughter, Vicki Trivette Rouse-Cheek of Mocksville; 2 grandsons, Mark Nicholas Rouse and Anthony Sean Rouse; 3 sisters, Brenda T. Ireland (Robert), Caroline T. Beck (Roger) and Kathy T. Barnhill (Marvin) all of Mocksville; several nieces and nephews; and his canine companion, Sunni.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 20 at Eaton Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Arnold Gosnell officiating. Burial will follow in Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery with military honors conducted by the VF. Memorial Honor Guard. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
