David Kent Knight, 56, of Harmony died on Dec. 12, 2016 at his home.

He  was working at the Brian Center in Statesville.

Survivors: his parents, Bobby and Margaret (Salmon) Knight of Harmony; his children, Debra Mullis and fiancé Jody Sherrill of Statesville, Michael Knight of Mocksville and Brittian Knight and wife Carter of Mocksville; his brothers, Larry Knight and wife Maria of Mocksville and Tony Knight and fiancé Carrie of Cornelius; 5 grandchildren; and 4 nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering will be held at Reavis Funeral Home of Harmony Chapel, 3365 Harmony Hwy., on Saturday Dec. 17 from noon-1 p.m. with a 1 p.m. service to follow.
