Mrs. Jane Gray Malloy, 75, of Jamestown, died on Sunday, Nov. 6, 2016, at home, following an extended illness.

She was born Oct. 5, 1941, in Patrick County, Va. to the late Daniel Enoch and Lydia Smith Gray. She was a lifelong member of Moriah United Methodist Church in Greensboro.

She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Douglas Delane Gray and Larry Joe Gray.

Survivors: her husband, David Owens Malloy,Sr.; 2 daughters, Julie Malloy Copeland (Brooks) of Greensboro and Polly Malloy Sherfield of Union, S.C.; a son, David Owens Malloy Jr. of Climax; and a sister, Nancy Gray Prater of Buford, Ga.

A private family graveside service will be conducted at Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Darren Crotts officiating.
