Edith B. Pegram

Mrs. Edith B. Pegram, 97, of Clemmons, died Saturday, Nov. 5, 2016.

She was born Sept. 10, 1919 in Davie County to the late Hugh and Annie Boger. She was a homemaker and enjoyed traveling across the U.S., Mexico, and Europe with her husband. She also enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, James William Pegram; and sisters, Linda Boger, Mary Hauser, and Mildred Edwards.

Survivors: her daughter, Patricia Pegram Council of Pfafftown; son, Kenneth E. Pegram and wife Shirley of Clemmons; and grandchildren, Stacy Council Rich and husband Joe of Winston-Salem and Sheri Renee Pegram of Clemmons.

A funeral service was held Tuesday, Nov. 8 at 11 a.m. at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel with Pastor Bob McCaskill officiating. The body lie in state one hour prior to the service. Burial followed at Westlawn Gardens of Memory.
