John Bunyon Wilson

John Bunyon “JB” Wilson, 74, of Mocksville, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2016, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.
He was born in Davie County on Dec. 17, 1941, son of the late Charlie and Ethel Sellers Wilson. He attended Davie County Schools and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Mocksville. He had worked at Rowan Technical Community College and Crown Wood. He had been a resident of Davie Place for the past 17 years. He had a good heart, and loved making people happy. He also liked baseball.
Survivors: a step-son, Andrew Holmes of China Grove; a daughter, Wendy Wilson of Statesville; a brother, Lonnie (Bessie) Wilson of Cooleemee; 2 sisters, Mary Bines of Statesville and Mildred Phifer of Mocksville; 3 grandchildren, Leondre Turner, Raheem Rinehardt, and Uniqua Wilson; other relatives and friends.
