INVITATION TO SUBMIT PRE-QUALIFICATION PACKAGE FOR
BIDDING THE DAVIE COUNTY COURTHOUSE EXTERIOR RESTORATION
Davie County, North Carolina is seeking pre-qualification statements from general contractors, with prior restoration experience, for work to be performed for the exterior restoration of the Davie County Courthouse in Mocksville, North Carolina. This project will be bid as a single-prime contract. The project generally includes the exterior restoration of the existing courthouse buildings as shown on the contract documents. Exterior masonry cleaning, restoration and painting will be a large portion of the project as well as the restoration of the existing clock tower. Replacement of the existing copper dome roof will also be included. Davie County anticipates work to start on the restoration in mid August of this year. Any general contractor wishing to be pre-qualified for the work must complete an application and be approved by Davie County for bidding. Contact the office of Fuller Architecture at 336-751-0400 to obtain the necessary application information and project information. Questions regarding this Pre-qualification Request (RFQ) must be in writing and shall be directed to John Fuller, Architect, via e-mail. This application must be submitted with one (1) original and two (2) copies. TAKE NOTICE that a Public Hearing will be held before the Board of Commissioners of Davie County at 6:00 o’clock p.m. on June 6th, 2016, in the Conference Room of the Davie County Administration Building, 123 South Main Street, Mocksville, North Carolina, pursuant to the provisions of NCGS §158-7.1 and Session Law 2015-277, to consider granting economic development appropriations for the purpose of aiding and encouraging the location of a new industrial enterprises and development in Davie County, North Carolina.
TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the appropriations being considered are approximately $145,876.00 from Davie County to assist the Davie County Economic Development Commission in the recruitment of industries to Davie County, advertising of local business environment of Davie County, to hire professional economic development staff, and to network with business support services, including but not limited to the Davie County Chamber of Commerce.

INVITATION TO SUBMIT PRE-QUALIFICATION PACKAGE FOR
BIDDING THE DAVIE COUNTY COURTHOUSE EXTERIOR RESTORATION
Davie County, North Carolina is seeking pre-qualification statements from general contractors, with prior restoration experience, for work to be performed for the exterior restoration of the Davie County Courthouse in Mocksville, North Carolina. This project will be bid as a single-prime contract. The project generally includes the exterior restoration of the existing courthouse buildings as shown on the contract documents. Exterior masonry cleaning, restoration and painting will be a large portion of the project as well as the restoration of the existing clock tower. Replacement of the existing copper dome roof will also be included. Davie County anticipates work to start on the restoration in mid August of this year. Any general contractor wishing to be pre-qualified for the work must complete an application and be approved by Davie County for bidding. Contact the office of Fuller Architecture at 336-751-0400 to obtain the necessary application information and project information. Questions regarding this Pre-qualification Request (RFQ) must be in writing and shall be directed to John Fuller, Architect, via e-mail. This application must be submitted with one (1) original and two (2) copies.
