Charity Reich

Charity Reich, 59, of Coventry Lane, Mocksville, died May 12 in Autumn Care Nursing Home, where she had resided for two weeks.  She was born in New York to the late Joe Parker and June Merchant. She was educated in New York and worked in a school cafeteria. For the past 18 years, she and her family lived in Davie County. She was a member of Farmington Baptist Church.   Survivors: her husband, Lee Reich of Mocksville; a son, Randy Reich of Mocksville; a daughter, Shelby Reich of Mocksville; her mother, June Merchant of Cooleemee; 2 brothers, William Mullenax of Salisbury, and Earl Mullenax of Susquehanna, Pa.; a sister, Brenda Burgan of Salisbury.   A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 21 at Farmington Baptist Church.
