Carrie Lee Williams Bullock

Mrs. Carrie Lee Williams Bullock, 90, of Myrtle Beach, S.C., passed away on May 4, 2025.
She was born in Columbus County, NC to the late Lucian Albert and Mary Linnie Williams on June 24, 1934, the middle of 5 children. Her parents taught them the importance of hard work and devotion to God and family. Carrie’s greatest joy was spending time with family and friends at every possible opportunity.
She was married to Rev. Charles Earl Bullock, who served First Baptist Church Mocksville for 15 years. During their time in Mocksville, Carrie worked in the medical field as an operating room nurse, assisting Dr. Francis Slate at Davie County Hospital. She liked to tell that she was so short, she stood on a special stool during each surgery.
During their 56-year marriage, the couple served many communities, including time in Germany. After retirement, they moved to Little River SC, to continue enjoying the beach they had always loved. They also enjoyed traveling extensively with friends. Retirement had a brief interruption as they continued their ministry at nearby Olyphic Baptist Church in Tabor City, NC.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Alene Long and Lois Gerald.
Survivors include: a daughter, Sheila Bullock Colosimo (Rick); a son, Charles Byron Bullock; 4 grandchildren, Clark Colosimo (Morgan), Cale Colosimo, Brooke Bullock Lao (Alex), Erik Bullock; 3 great-grandchildren, River Lao, Porter Lao, Emery Colosimo; and 2 sisters, Naomi Ward, Joanne Formyduval.
Services were held May 9 at Lee Funeral Home, Little River, S.C., where Dr. Wayne Brown and Greg Rowles officiated. Graveside service and visitation followed at Olyphic Baptist Church.
