The Harmony High School Alumni meeting will be May 10 at Hebron Baptist Church, Statesville. A fish fry will be at noon with an ice cream social following, with socializing and reminiscing until 4 p.m. RSVP by May 5 via call or text to 336-682-3456. Cost is $20. Liberty Wesleyan Church will have a bake sale and hotdog sale on Saturday, May 10 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Thanks to Linda Goforth for the info.
A time of prayer is held at Liberty Wesleyan Church each Sunday at 9:30 a.m., followed by Sunday School at 10 and Worship at 11. Choir practice is each Wednesday at 7 pm.
Sunday School at Ijames Baptist is at 9:30 a.m., followed by the worship service at 10:30. Pastor Kestler Ruth invites you to join them each week. Children’s Choir practice is at 4:30 p.m. on Sundays and TeamKIDS, Youth and the Adult Bible Study will meet at 5 p.m. each Sunday. A Men’s Bible Study is held each Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the fellowship hall.
Hotdog Saturday at New Union was a great success thanks to all who came out on this windy Saturday. We look forward to this great time of fellowship each month. The next Hotdog Saturday will be May 24.
New Union welcomes everyone to Sunday School at 9 a.m. and worship service at 10 each week. Pastor Tim Lowery invites you to join them for these services. The Kids and Youth ministry is held each Wednesday evening from 6:30 – -7:30.
Worship service and Junior church class for children is held each Sunday at 10:45 am at Community Covenant Church. Evangelistic service is on Sundays at 6 p.m. and Prayer meeting and Bible study is on Wednesdays at 7.
Center Fire Department is looking for volunteers to help serve the community. If interested in being a volunteer firefighter, stop by the station at 2265 US 64 W. any Thursday night at 7 or call 336-492-7649. We look forward to sharing more information.
Wesley Chapel UMC invites everyone to a breakfast fundraiser on the 3rd Saturday of each month. Call Kathy at 336-830-5123. The church still has a few walnuts, granola and chocolate-covered peanuts for sale.
Jam sessions are held each week on Mondays and Saturdays at Eddie’s Place in Cool Springs from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
