Advance Fire Dept. Fall BBQ, 8 a.m.-2 p.m., Station 2 on Firehouse Rd. No indoor meals. Customers line up in vehicles on road: $15, 1 lb. chopped pork, slaw, 4 buns. Volunteers needed Thursday evening and on Friday, 336-998-8181.
