Mrs. Sadie Hendon Thompson, 82, of Mocksville, died Sunday, April 7, 2024 at her home.

She was born May 12, 1941 in Selma, Alabama to the late John Franklin Sr. and Sadie Hall Taylor Hendon.

Survivors include: her husband, Jimmy Taylor Thompson Sr.; children, Jimmy Taylor Thompson Jr. (Benita) and Rhonda Gail Robertson (Brent); brother, John Hendon; grandchildren, Allen, Nicoha, Stacy, and Stephanie; and 3 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, April 1 at Lambert Funeral Chapel with Dr. David Gilbreath officiating.
