The filing period for municipal offices in Bermuda Run, Cooleemee, and Mocksville begins at 8 a.m. on Monday, July 6 and will close at noon on Friday, July 17.

Filing will be conducted for the offices of:

• Town of Bermuda Run Mayor  Ken Rethmeier and Council seats held by John Guglielmi and Jerry West;

• Town of Cooleemee Mayor Lynn Rumley, and commission seats held by James Szymanski, Jean Snead and Daphne Beck (1 a two-year term); and

• Town of Mocksville Mayor Dr. F.W. Slate, and commission seats held by Will Marklin and Rob Taylor.

Filing fees are $5 and may be paid to the Davie County Board of Elections, 161 Poplar St., Suite 102.  Contact the elections office with questions at 753-6072.
