A Mocksville woman faces rape and other charges after her arrest on Friday.

Brittany Leann Charles, 25, was arresed by Davie Sheriff’s officers as they executed a search warrant at her residence on US 158 near Mocksville. She was charged with assault by strangulation, second-degree forcible rape, habitual misdemeanor assault and simple assault.

She was taken into custody in lieu of a $125,000 bond, pending a court appearance.
