Mr. Jaimie Daniel James, 59, of South Main Street, Mocksville, died Sunday, Feb. 26, 2023 at SECU Hospice Care Center in Yadkinville.

He was born on Nov. 16, 1963 in Davie County to the late Jesse Carl James Sr. and Joyce Daniel James of Mocksville.

Jaimie was an avid golfer and loved his Dallas Cowboys and Duke Blue Devils. He enjoyed sitting in the building with his brother and sister and also loved to grill chicken and watch NASCAR. Jaimie’s grandchildren were his pride and joy.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by: his father-in-law, Kenny Jordan; and a brother-in-law, Ken Jordan.

In addition to his mother, survivors include: his wife of 32 years, Vicki Jordan James; 2 children, Jordan Eaton (Zach) of Mocksville and Logan James of Cornelius; 3 grandchildren, Aerington, Jaxx, and Axel Eaton; a brother, Jesse James Jr. of Mocksville; a sister, Janeen Byerly (Ron) of Mocksville; his mother-in-law, Linda Hendricks Jordan of Mocksville; a sister-in-law, Donna Jordan of Mocksville; and nieces and nephew, Megan Markland (Daniel), Sam Jordan, and Rachel Jordan.

A memorial service will be conducted at 6 p.m., Thursday, March 2 at Eaton Funeral Chapel with Rev. Fred Carlton and Mrs. Megan Markland officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
