7 arrested during early-morning raid on Mocksville home

Seven people were arrested as Davie Sheriff’s narcotics officers executed a search warrant on Wednesday, Feb. 15 at 6 a.m. at 641 Pine Ridge Road, Mocksville.
The raid was a result of an on-going narcotics investigation into illegal drug activity at that residence, said Sheriff J.D. Hartman.
Marijuana and paraphernalia were found as well as several subjects with outstanding warrants. Two firearms were also confiscated.
• David Thomas Hall, 47, of Pine Ridge Road, Mocksville, was charged with assault on government official, resisting a public officer, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance on jail premises. Hall was taken into custody in lieu of a $25,000 bond.
• William Daniel Henderson, 32, of Salisbury, was charged with possession of a firearm by a felon, felony possession of marijuana and for an outstanding misdemeanor larceny warrant. Henderson was taken into custody in lieu of a $50,500 bond.
• Thomas Boyd Johnson, 31, of Lexington, was charged with possession of marijuana paraphernalia and possession of drug Paraphernalia. His bond was $500.
• Edward Clarence Carter, 51, of Riverside Drive, Mocksville, was acharged with possession of drug paraphernalia and for non-support of a child. He was taken into custody in lieu of a $1,080 bond.
• Shannon Michael Funderburk, 54, of Boxwood Church Road, Mocksville, was charged with simple possession of Schedule VI controlled substance and possession of marijuana paraphernalia. His bond was $500.
• Christy Anderson Hall, 44, of Pine Ridge Road, was charged with simple possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana paraphernalia and possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bond was $500.
• Sherelyn Ivy Johnson, 30, of Westview Ave., Cooleemee, was charged with simple possession of Schedule VI controlled substance. Her bond was $500.
