Mr. and Mrs. Dan Thompson of Lafayette, La., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Hannah Britt, to Mr. Steven Joshua Honeycutt, of Charlotte. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Honeycutt of Spencer.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Helen Hannah and the late Gene Hannah of Calhoun, Ga., and Mary Lou Thompson and the late Oliver Thompson of Raleigh. Hannah is a graduate of Clemson University with degrees in Financial Management and Accounting. She is employed by Bank of America in Charlotte.
The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of the late Geneva and Robert Honeycutt and the late Judy Long Kluttz. Josh is the great grandson of Mary Long of Salisbury and the late Coy Long. He is the great-great grandson of the late Pearl Misenheimer. Josh is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with degrees in Economics and Public Policy. He is employed by McKesson Corporation in Charlotte.
The wedding is March 8, 2014, in Charlotte.
