While the Davie County High School Class of 2021 will graduate during commencement ceremonies on Saturday morning, the community is invited to help celebrate on Friday evening.

The Senior Parade will travel from the old Davie High site (now park) on US 601 South in Mocksville, through downtown on Main Street, to Farmington Road before disbanding at the school.

It starts at 6 p.m. Seniors are asked to arrive at the new park no later than 5:30 p.m. Members of the community are encouraged to line the route.

“The community is encouraged to show their support of the class along the parade route,” said Lori Smith, board of education member. “Bring your lawn chairs, posters and cowbells. We look forward to enjoying this wonderful event as we celebrate the DCHS Class of 2021.”
