John E. Johnson has been called to be Senior Pastor at First Baptist Church of Mocksville.

Johnson, his wife Ruth Ann, and daughter Makayla moved to Mocksville on Jan. 17.

He is a graduate of the University of Central Florida and earned his master’s of divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.  He also holds several certifications in leadership, training, marriage coach, financial coach, and personal life coach.

He is a native Floridian and has 26 years of ministry experience serving churches in Florida, Georgia, Ohio, and Tennessee.

The church is having service in-person on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m., also streamed on Facebook live.  Attendees wear masks and are seated according to social distancing guidelines.  Sunday School is after the service at 10:45.

Visitors are always welcome.
