Concerts Saturday in Mocksville, Bermuda Run

Davie County has two free concerts Saturday night.
While downtown Mocksville is rocking, Bermuda Run will be dancing to the tunes of the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s.
Enjoy some classic rock and rhythm & blues as 60 Watt Combo takes center stage Saturday, Aug. 24 from 7-10 p.m. in the quad in downtown Mocksville. The performance is part of the free Concerts on the Square series sponsored by the Town of Mocksville.
Hear favorites from artists like Chuck Berry, The Animals, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, ZZ Top and more. Bring lawn chairs.
Future performances in the free series: Sept. 14, Exit 180 Band (rock, southern rock, classic rock, country, blues); and Sept. 28, Poundcake (rock). All concerts begin at 7 p.m.

The Town of Bermuda Run & Davie County Arts Council will present Eric & The Chill Tones from 7-10 p.m. at the gazebo near Town Hall in the Kinderton Business Park Saturday.
This band will get the audience involved. They play just about anything but focus on ’60s, ‘70s, and ‘80s cover tunes and Carolina beach music.
Bring a lawn chair, a picnic, a cooler, and your dancing shoes. Two dance floors will be available. The rain date is Sunday, Aug. 25 at 7 p.m.
Future performances in the free Sounds on the Square concert series: Sept. 8, On The Border – Ultimate Eagles Tribute Band; and Sept. 29, Special Occasion Band (Carolinas’ beach music, top 40, oldies, and country). All concerts begin at 7 p.m.
