Candace Lace Jones, 38, of Mocksville died on June 7, 2019 at her home.

She was born Dec. 30, 1980 in Forsyth County, a daughter to Keith L. Jones and Debbie Lynn Knight Jones. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Virginia Myers Jones, Paul William Jones and W.L. Knight.

She earned an associate’s degree from Davidson Community College, and was a daycare teacher at the Young Children Learning Center, where she worked for 10 years. She was a member of the Christ Moravian Church in Winston-Salem.

Survivors: her son, Caleb L. Stephens of Mocksville;  daughters, Caylin L. Perdue and Calista L. Perdue of Clemmons; sisters, Cylyndia Jones Smith (Kiley) of Mocksville and Casey Jones Clayton (Ben) of Advance.

Funeral services will be private.
