Mr. William Christopher Spry, 67, of Yadkinville, died Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

He was born Oct. 16, 1951 in Davie County to Dorothy “Dot” Hodges and Grady Spry. Mr. Spry was a Carolina Tarheels and New York Yankees fan. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends while he listened to music.

Survivors: a fiancé, Debbie Swaim; 2 children, Megan Barker (Chad) and Josh Spry; 3 stepchildren, Dustin Swaim (Krystal), James “Bo” Swaim and Daniel Swaim (Destiny); 6 grandchildren; 2 siblings, Russ Spry and Lisa Michael (Tim); a niece and nephew; godparents, George and Delores Jordan; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 31 at Eaton Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Shelby Harbour officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
