Mrs. Phyllis J. Hamilton, 74, of Lewisville died on Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2019 at her home.

She was born Feb. 20, 1944 in Cabarrus County to Harold Pete and Ida Irene Angell Jordan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Richard Hamilton.

Surviving: 3 daughters, Candace Hardin and husband Doug, April Menius and Rhonda Hamilton; 7 grandchildren, Jordan Walters, Nathan Hardin, Nowell Hardin, Penny Hall, Christopher Lofty, Heather Stone and Lucas Stone; 12 great-grandchildren; a great-grea-grandson; a sister, Louise Culp; and 3 brothers, Jerry Jordan and wife Suzy, Gene Jordan and wife Melody and Jan Jordan and wife Terry.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5 at Yadkin Valley Baptist Church with Pastor Doug Hardin officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel.
