Mr. Sonny Ray Miller, 50, of Fairfield Road, Mocksville, died Sunday, Nov. 18, 2018.

He was born April 19, 1968, in Davie County to Mildred Anderson Miller and the late Cletus Ray Miller. He was owner/operator of Miller Sheet Metal and Miller Equipment Rental. He was a hard worker, was a professional at what he did and went out of his way to help others. He was a loving father and papaw who enjoyed spending time with his kids, grandson and family.

Survivors: 2 daughters, Katie Miller and Sara Miller, both of Mocksville; a stepson, Josh Myers of Advance; a grandson, Brantley Seamon; his mother; 3 siblings, Lynne Powell (John), Eddie Miller, and Rodney Miller (Tammy), all of Mocksville; and nieces and nephews, Erika Buchanan (Coleman), Spencer Miller, Logan Miller and Lesley Hardison (Bobby) and their 3 children, Jonathan, Alissa and Jacob Meadows.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 21 at Fork Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Garrett officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Monty Smith, Spencer Miller, Jake Meadows, Jonathan Meadows, Coleman Buchanan and Chad Tigert. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
