Maya Lillian Tarbet

Miss Maya Lillian Tarbet, 13, of Bermuda Run, died on Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017 at Brenner Children’s Hospital due to a brain aneurism on the morning of Thursday, Nov. 9.
She was born Sept. 20, 2004 in Salt Lake City, Utah to David and Ariane Tarbet. She attended William Ellis Middle School where she was a straight A student. She was a member of the Beta Club, Mathletes, captain of the Ellis girl’s tennis team and was on the Bermuda Run swim team. She wanted to be a pediatric cardiologist.
Survivors: her parents; 6 siblings, Alex, Mason, Olivia, Ethan, Audrey and Noelle; paternal grandparents, Floyd and Karen Tarbet; maternal grandmother, Calla Tronsen; honorary grandparents, Mitchell and Patricia Young; and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Clemmons with Todd Eldridge officiating. The family will receive friends from noon-1:30 p.m. for a viewing at the church prior to the service.
