Bonnie Harkey Williams, 70, died at her residence Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017.

She was the daughter of the late David Lee Harkey and Lacil Thompson Harkey. Mrs. Williams attended Cool Springs Elementary. She was self-employed and retired to become a homemaker. She was in Christian faith.

Survivors: 2 sons, James Allen Eldridge (Annette) of Statesville and Merlin Harkey of Mocksville; 2 daughters, Kimberly Neely (Thomas) of Mocksville and Krista Renken of Oregon; 2 brothers, James Harkey of Mocksville and Neddy Harkey (Vicki) of Mocksville; a sister, Brenda Peffley (Butch) of Jacksonville; 3 grandchildren, Joshua Renken, Austyn Neely and Matthew Blake; and 6 great-grandchildren, Dakota, Serria, Brieana, Taren, Courtney and Hunter.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Ward; 3 brothers, Tony Harkey, Bill Harkey and Bob Harkey; 4 sisters, Ruby Williams, JoAnn Tolbert, Virginia Earp, and Jane Eldridge; a great-grandchild, Ariana Renken.

A celebration of life service will be conducted at 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18 at Fast Furious Bingo, 804 S. Main St., Lexington.
