Races develop for town elections

The race is on for seats on boards for Davie’s three municipalities.
In Cooleemee, voters will choose two board members. Candidates include incumbent Andy Reavis of Erwin Street. Challengers are Josh Ijames of Cross Street, Steve Corriher of Church Street and Don Cover of Davie Street.
In Mocksville, voters will elected three board members. Incumbents Johnny Frye of Oak Street, Carl Lambert of Wilkesboro Street and Jenny Stevenson of Whitney Road are being challenged by Glamar O. Galeas of Tot Street, Ralph Aaron Harding of Wandering Lane and Brent S. Ward of Charleston Ridge Drive.
Bermuda Run voters will elect three council members. Incumbent Rod Guthrie of Orchard Park Drive is being challenged by Marty Wilson of S. Bermuda Run Drive, Carson Jernigan of Riverbend Drive, Dylan Hines of S. River Hill Drive and John R. Jones of Bing Crosby Blvd.
Voters will cast ballots for their favorites in November.
