Two incumbents, challenger file for Mocksville Town Board

Two incumbents and a challenger filed as candidates for seats on the Mocksville Town Board on Monday.
Johnny Frye of Oak Street and Carl Lambert of Wilkesboro Street filed for re-election, and are being challenged by political newcomer Glamar O. Galeas of Tot Street.
Voters will selected three members of the board in November. The seat held by Jenny Stevenson is also up for election.
Potentitial candidates for this and races for the boards in Cooleemee and Bermuda Run have until noon on Friday, July 18 to file at the Davie Board of Elections office, off Poplar Street, back, lower level of the Brock Building.
Bermuda Run voters will elect three council members in November. Seats now held by Michael Ernst, Christina Schafer and Rod Guthrie (appointed to fill the unexpired term of Melinda Szegila) will be up for election.
Cooleemee voters will select two board of commission members, with seats held by Andrew Reavis and Christopher Almond up for election.
