Hotdog Saturday at New Union is ready to serve up those great hotdogs on July 26 from 11 a.m.- 2 p.m.
Vacation Bible School is scheduled at New Union for July 27-30 from 6-8 each evening. Get ready for an ultimate Alaskan adventure “True North”, where kids can explore how easy it is to lose sight of what’s true in our wild world today, and pointing them toward Jesus, our trusting friend and our “True North!”
New Union welcomes everyone to Sunday School at 9 a.m. and worship service at 10 each week. Pastor Tim Lowery invites you to join them for these services.
Vacation Bible School will be held Saturday, Aug. 2 from 9 a.m.-noon at Liberty Wesleyan. Attend to learn more about our Lord.
A time of prayer is held at Liberty Wesleyan each Sunday at 9:30 a.m., followed by Sunday School at 10 and Worship at 11. Choir practice is each Wednesday at 7 p.m.
Sunday School at Ijames Baptist Church is a 9:30 a.m., followed by the worship service at 10:30. Pastor Kestler Ruth invites you to join them each week. Youth Summer Great Escape for 6th-12th graders meets Sunday evenings at 5 this summer.
Worship service and Junior church class for children is each Sunday at 10:45 a.m. at Community Covenant Church. Evangelistic service is on Sundays at 6 p.m. and Prayer meeting and Bible study is on Wednesdays at 7 p.m.
Harmony Public Library has lots happening in June and July. Each Tuesday at 11 a.m., kids age 6-11 are invited to the weekly Summer Reading fun; each Wednesday at 10:30 a.m., there will be a fun storytime session for toddlers and preschoolers; and each Thursday at 4 p.m. there will be a teen program. On July 10, there will be Chair Yoga for seniors 60 and over from 11 a.m.-noon; from 4-5 p.m. there will be a craft of hanging yarn art for kids ages 12-17; July 15 from 11-noon there will be musical painting for kids 6-11; on July 16 from 11:3-12:30, learn about the vital role the sheriff’s office and meet canine officers; then on July 17 from 4-5 kids ages 12-17 can enjoy music jeopardy. The group at Eddie’s Place recently celebrated the 4th of July with a hotdogs and trimmings, desserts, fruit and chicken and dumplings. Jam sessions are held each week on Mondays at Eddie’s Place in Cool Springs from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
