Hotdog Saturday at New Union was a great success even with the high temperature. Many enjoyed their time of socializing in addition to getting some great hotdogs and baked items. The next will be July 26. Thanks again for all those who helped and those who came out.
Vacation Bible School is scheduled at New Union for July 27-July 30 from 6-8 each evening. Get ready for an ultimate Alaskan adventure “True North.,” where kids explore how easy it is to lose sight of what’s true in our wild world, and pointing them toward Jesus, our trusting friend and “True North.”
The Youth group at New Union and their chaperones returned from a weeklong trip to Panama City, Fla. for camp. On Sunday, several shared stories about their trip and what it meant to them. It was apparent they all enjoyed all the speakers, music and time spent getting to know other youths, and most of all, learning more about themselves and their walk with the Lord. My thanks to Pastor Tim Lowery for sharing the photos.
VBS was held at Ijames Baptist last week with a large group of children attending. It ended Friday night with a family night. Thanks to those at Ijames for posting photos.
