Mrs. Angela Leigh Kimrey Jones, 50, of Hwy 601 South, Mocksville, passed unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at her home.
She was born on Aug. 27, 1974 to Ralph Kenneth Kimrey of Mocksville and the late Ginger Smith Kimrey.
Angie was a graduate of Davie County High School and was employed with CVS in Bermuda Run for more than 30 years. She had a special love for animals, especially her dog, Tucker. She would have rescued all of them, dogs and cats alike, and taken them home with her if she could have. She was always kind and willing to help anyone. She will be greatly missed.
In addition to her mother, Angie was preceded in death by: her sister, Sheila; her stepmother, Stephanie Kimrey; her great nephew, Brantley Halter; and her stepfather, Pete Arrington.
In addition to her father, survivors include: her husband of 30 years, Larry Jones; her brother, Brad Kimrey (Maricar) of Julian; nieces, Samantha Thompson (Jacob) of Mocksville and Stephanie Addington of Mocksville; great nephews, Timothy and Jameson Thompson; great niece, Emily Halter; and best friends, Carmen Robertson, Lelani Branch, Connie Kiss (James), Jane Holleman and her children, M.J. and B.J., and Anette Bailey (Mike).
A graveside service was conducted at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 7 at Bethlehem Methodist Church Cemetery in Advance, with Rev. Shane Young officiating. The family received friends from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the serviceat Eaton Funeral Home.
