A summer kids’ event called True North VBS wil be hosted at Eatons Baptist Church June 8-11 from 6:30-8:30 each evening.
Kids will be guided on an “Alaskan” adventure where northern lights glow over majestic mountains, racing rivers and glistening glaciers, designed to show kids that Jesus is a faithful friend they can always trust. “He’s our true North,” said pastor, David Gilbreath.
Each evening, kids will launch into field-tested rotations that reinforce relevant Bible points while taking part in new adventures. They will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through “God sightings.” Each night will conclude with a Compass Closing – a reminder that Jesus can always be trusted.
Family members are invited to join at 8:15 p.m.
True North is for kids ages 3-12 years (pre-school-grade 5). A separate adult class explores the same nightly themes.
