The the V-Point Ruritans will host a breakfast from 7-10 a.m. Saturday, June 7 at the V-Point Building on Old Mocksville Road.
Just off NC 901 s the annual Cruise-In beginning at 10 a.m. at Piney Grove AME Zion Church. As photos show, folks always enjoy food and fellowship.
The Threadheads of Clarksbury Methodist Church continue to meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays. The group is learning how to make a coil basket. Everyone is invited
Calvary Baptist Church continues to collect nonperishable food items for area foodbanks through June. To donate, contact any member.
Upcoming community event: Davie County High School graduation at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, June 14 at War Eagle Stadium; Anointed in Grace in concert at 11 a.m. followed by dinner on Sunday, June 29 at Calvary Baptist.
Our community sends congratulations to Zack and Jennifer West Wallace upon the birth of their twin sons Jake and Luke. Jennifer and baby Jake are resting at home now, but baby Luke remains hospitalized. Maternal grandparents are Terry and Shirley Koontz West of Ridge Road.
Donnie Keller continues with trips to physical therapy almost daily and awaits skin crafting. Join us in prayer for the Lord’s divine healing and blessings upon Donnie, baby Luke, and other residents who are having health issues. Pray that Caleb Williams will enjoy a summer filled with teenage activities as much as possible as he awaits checkup in August.
