Mrs. Libby Ann Richardson Correll, 74, of Fairfield Road, Mocksville, died Thursday, May 15, 2025, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.
She was born on May 13, 1951 in Iredell County to William Lester Richardson Sr. of Mocksville and the late Pearlie Mae Lapish Richardson.
Libby was a devoted Christian and was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church. She was owner of Spic-n-Span Cleaning Service for many years. Libby was always taking care of everyone. She loved spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids and was a very loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister. She will be greatly missed.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a brother, David Richardson.
In addition to her father, survivors include: her husband of 56 years, Jerry Ray Correll; 2 children, Paul Wayne Correll (Sissie) of Olin and Paula Correll Fortner (Jerry) of Mocksville; 5 grandchildren, Tiffany Stewart (Mitchell), Jerry Wayne Correll (Leslie), Kayla Hobson (John), Maria Fortner, and Jerry Jacob Fortner; 6 great-grandchildren, Frankie Wayne Stewart, Athena Correll, Aavah Correll, Riley Stewart, Beckett Hobson, and Maddux Hobson; her siblings, Kay Stevenson of Olin, Lester Richardson (Keely) of Tobaccoville, and Dianna Fisher (John) of Arizona; brother and sister-in-law, Terry Correll (Louise) of Mocksville; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 20 at Eaton Funeral Chapel with Rev. Frank Blankenship officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
