A Full Measure Catering of Mocksville is recalling 198 (14 oz), and 176 (26 oz) Hashbrown Casseroles, because it may contain undeclared wheat.
People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to wheat run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
Hashbrown Casserole was distributed in the Western and Piedmont North Carolina Areas through retail stores.
The product comes in rectangle aluminum foil pans with clear plastic lids marked with expiration dates: (1-2-26, 1-6-26, 1-9-26, 1-14-26, 1-16-26, 1-20-26, 2-10-26, 2-11-26, 3-3-26, 3-27-26, 4-10-26) top label located on the clear plastic lid.
No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem.
The recall was initiated after it was discovered that Hashbrown Casserole containing (Wheat) was distributed in packaging that did not reveal the presence of (Wheat). Subsequent investigation indicates the problem was caused by a temporary labeling error in the company’s packaging process.
Consumers who have purchased 14 oz or 26 oz containers of Hashbrown Casserole are urged to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. Consumers with questions may contact A Full Measure Catering at 336-936-9386.
