Senior games bocce brings more than 50 participants

Davie County Senior Games held the bocce tournament March 25-28 at Davie Community Park.
More than 50 people came out to play, and the competition was fierce. Several games ended in battling out for the gold with a roll off.

Females: (60-64) 1st: Julia Fox, 2nd: Renae Tkach, 3rd: Jenny McCoy. (65-69) 1st: Carolyn Sloan, 2nd: Vanessa Carter, 3rd: Sandra Smith. (70-74) 1st: Roni Barney, 2nd: Mary Hall, 3rd: Alice Monk. (75-79) 1st: Pat Gregory, 2nd: Peggy Evans, 3rd: Karen Umberger. (80-84) 1st: Barbara Chapman, 2nd: Bonita Dobbs, 3rd: Lois Green. (85-89) 1st: Alice Barnette, 2nd: Sue Allen, 3rd: Doris Hinsdale.

Senior Games will visit Bermuda Village for the shuffleboard tournament.
