Peter S. Ney’s remains were the topic of a French documentary film crew here (photo at right) in the Summer of 2022. There will finally be a local premiere of the production on Thursday, Oct. 24 at 6:30 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room at the Davie County Public Library, hosted by the Davie County Historical and Genealogical Society. Also on display will be the textbook Ney used and they examined so closely. What did they find and what did they decide? Come see for yourself. The library is on 371 N. Main St. in Mocksville.
