After graduation, she had the opportunity to teach in Alaska.
As of 2022, she is holding the position as the ESL teacher at Cooleemee Elementary School. During the day she works as a teacher but in the evenings she has been pursuing her masters’s degree online through Appstate.
She has earned the that master’s of higher education.
A friend called her a “ray of sunshine and optimism. Her students are very fortunate to have a compassionate and supportive mentor to look up to. Her family and friends are very proud of her and her accomplishments.”
