Ms. Cathy Renee Myers, 54, of Milling Road, Mocksville, died Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at her home.

She was born on July 4, 1969, in Davie County to the late Henry Junior and Gladys Luella Myers.

Cathy was an independent person. She might not have always liked you, but she always loved you. She loved music, watching Days of our Lives and Matlock, and was an avid 49ers fan. Most of all, she loved her family. Je vous aime, Je dois partir.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: a son, Nathan Myers; 2 sisters; and 3 brothers.

Survivors include: 3 children, Elizabeth Shoffner of Advance, Heaven Gibson of China Grove, and Sebastian Sturdivant (Brittany) of High Point; a granddaughter, Luella Gibson; 2 brothers, Charles Myers of Taylorsville and Herman Myers of Mocksville; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be considered for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
