Saturday car show to benefit Davie High student with cancer

The 3rd annual War Eagle Auto and Tractor Show will be held Saturday, April 13 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
The event is a fundraiser for the Career and Technical Education program and will also benefit DCHS student Ryan Tate who is a 9th grader battling a brain tumor.
General admission is $5, and cars can register the day of the event. Please see the event page here.
The day will also include plant sales by members of the school FFA.
On Saturday, expect to see a car and tractor show, food truck, facility tours, a hayride, kids zone, 50/50 raffle, a live DJ and presentations by Careers on Wheels. Admission is $5, and there is a $20 fee for a car/tractor show entry.

Members of the FFA will sell plants to support the school’s agriculture program, including vegetable and flower plants, student-designed flowering baskets and planters.
The greenhouse will be open for more sales on Saturday, April 20 from 9 a.m.-noon.
The school is at 180 War Eagle Drive, off Farmington Road near Mocksville.
