Driver charged with intent to sell drugs

A search of a vehicle at TA Truck Stop in Mocksville resulted in a Walnut Cove man being arrested on multiple drug charges.
On June 27 around 9:25 a.m., Davie County Sheriff’s Office deputies assisted N.C. Highway Patrol troopers with the stop. In the vehicle, they found cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana, a semi-automatic pistol, and twok ledgers along with other items of drug paraphernalia indicative of drug sales.
The drivere, Brian Lee Bowman, was charged with felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver methamphetamine, felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of cocaine, felony maintaining a vehicle for controlled substances, simple possession of schedule VI controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bowman was taken into custody in lieu of a $50,000 bond pending a July 6 first-appearance hearing in Davie District Court.
