Traffic stop leads to arrest of woman on multiple drug charges

A traffic stop last week led to the arrest of a Hudson woman on multiple illegal narcotics charges.
Taylor Renee Patrie was arrested after Davie County Sheriff’s deputies found probable cause to search her vehicle after a stop for an equipment violation at 12:42 p.m. June 19 on US 64 West near I-40, reported Chief Deputy Brian Jacobs.
Deputies located approximately 18.5 grams of cocaine, 6 grams of methamphetamine, four Suboxone strips, 6 grams of marijuana and several items of drug paraphernalia.
Patrie was charged with felony possession with intent to sell cocaine, felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of cocaine, felony maintaining a vehicle for controlled substances, simple possession of Schedule II controlled substance, simple posession of Schedule VI controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was taken into custoy in lieu of a $50,000 bond, pending a June 29 fgirst-appearance hearing in Davie District Court.
