Three types of illegal drugs were confiscated from a woman being taken into cusody for failing to pay child support.
Tina Marie Craig was arrested March 15 by the Davie Sheriff’s Office, after deputies stopped the car she was driving on US 64 West near I-40 for traffic violations, reported Chief Deputy Brian Jacobs.
The suspect gave false information when asked for her driver’s license, Jacobs said, but deputies eventually found out her real name. She had an outstanding warrant for failing to pay child support and was taken into custody.
“Deputies located methamphetamine, cocaine and Alprazolam along with several items of drug paraphernalia,” he said.
Craig was charged with non-support of a child, felony possession of methamphetamine, possession of Schedule IV controlled substance, possession of drug parahernalia, felony identity theft, and resisting an officer. She was taken into custody in lieu of a $25,000 bond, pending an April 13 appearance in Davie District Court.
