Mrs. Carol Ann Marshall Woodard, 81, of Mocksville, died Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023, at the home of her son.

She was born on Oct. 12, 1941 in Guilford County to the late C.E. and Mattie Toomes Marshall.

Carol was a member of First Baptist Church in Mocksville where she volunteered with visiting the homebound and enjoyed spending time with her church family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Donald Ray Woodard.

Survivors include: her son, Donald Blane Woodard (Valerie) of Lewisville; 2 grandchildren, Jackson and Madelyn Woodard; and a sister, Norma Marshall Frye (Gene) of Clemmons.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18 at Eaton Funeral Chapel with Pastor John Johnson officiating.
